Assisted Living and Memory Care Community
Key Duties
Help plan, set up, and lead daily activities including exercise, games, crafts, music, parties, and special events. Assist with resident outings such as scenic drives, picnics, and shopping trips. Provide one-on-one engagement for residents who prefer it over group activities. Help residents get to and from activities safely. Decorate common areas for holidays and monthly themes. Document participation and report changes in resident mood, behavior, or needs to staff.
Experience
No experience required. Previous work with seniors, especially in assisted living or memory care, is a plus. Comfort leading a group, creativity, and patience with residents of all abilities and levels of cognition are what matter most. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
